Alopecia is the medical word for baldness or hair loss. Numerous factors, including genetic predispositions, environmental triggers, chemical exposure, medication side effects, nutritional deficiencies, excessive stress, and protracted sickness, can lead to hair loss. The present study was conducted in 600 students between the age group of 18-22 years of age. Quantitative approach with descriptive survey design was chosen in this study to assess the prevalence and psychological impact of alopecia.
