Background: Preeclampsia is a significant pregnancy complication associated with increased maternal and fetal morbidity and mortality. It is a complex pregnancy related disorder characterized by hypertension and proteinuria, and poses significant health risks to both mothers and their unborn children. Globally, it affects approximately 2-8% of pregnancies, making it a critical subject of investigation within maternal-fetal medicine. Identifying and understanding its risk factors are critical for effective prevention and management. Objective: To investigate demographic, medical, and lifestyle risk factors associated with preeclampsia in a sample of pregnant women.
