Abstract
The Concanavalin A (Con-A)-induced autoimmune hepatitis (AIH) model is a well-established experimental tool for studying immune-mediated liver injury. This review provides a comprehensive overview of Con-A, including its biochemical properties, historical discovery, and evolution into a valuable research model.
