The purpose of this study is to identify workplace characteristics that impact lean success. This study aims to enhance the efficiency of lean performance results, hence facilitating the seamless transition of organisations from conventional to lean management. The present study empirically examines the impact of training, knowledge acquisition, organisational culture, and green practices on the transparent effect inside a worldwide distribution company. The data was collected from 30 respondents who are currently employed at the company, which has recently improved its lean performance. SPSS is utilised for hypothesis analysis. The findings suggest that not all of the workplace elements mentioned have a comprehensive impact on lean performance. Lean performance is only associated with training and environmentally-friendly activities. The acquisition of knowledge and the organisational culture have a significant impact on lean performance. The authors conducted their research exclusively in Malaysia, employing the convenience sample method.Therefore, the research findings will not be extrapolated to other circumstances. To ascertain the reliability of the conclusion in different circumstances, it is imperative to do a replication study in the future. The findings indicate that organisations can greatly benefit from being aware of the elements that affect lean practices. By understanding these aspects and aligning them appropriately, firms can improve their lean performance. This study focuses on the impact of workplace activities on lean performance, specifically highlighting the significance of diverse elements in influencing the four distinct aspects of lean performance. While the study findings depict a specific scenario, its implication could aid practitioners in achieving optimal lean outcomes.
