Abstract

Global culture has become much more complex, as businesses increasingly need to manage the ubiquitous aspect of cultural variety in worldwide organizations. Therefore, it's critical to comprehend the difficulties brought about by cultural diversity as well as the part that culturally intelligent managers can play in getting beyond these obstacles. From this vantage point, the current study used regression analysis to investigate how different cultural intelligence characteristics affect workers' job performance in the hotel sector, which is well-known for its diverse customer. Primary data was gathered in the Punjab region from a number of 4- and 5-star hotels.Three of the four dimensions—CQ knowledge, CQ behaviour, and CQ motivation—were found to have a somewhat beneficial impact on employee work performance. Nonetheless, there was no discernible effect of the CQ strategy dimension on staff performance in these hotels. The paper discusses the ramifications of these findings.
