Trees are nature’s master-pieces of creation. Forests are made up of trees and are an incredible part of our legacy, contributing significantly to the progress of a nation. The Sanctuary contains a region with sufficient ecological, faunal, floral, geomorphological, natural, or zoological importance. The current study was conducted in the Mayaman Kurichi Reserve Forest in the Alngulam Taluk of the Tenkasi district in Tamil Nadu. Researching the diversity of trees in this area will contribute to the identification, conservation, and management of these trees, as well as provide valuable insight into their uses for timber, fuel wood, fruit, fodder, and traditional and medicinal purposes. The results indicated that Mayaman Kurichi Reserve Forest comprises of 71 species of trees belonging to 25 families. 68 are Dicot and belong to 53 genera and 24 families; 3 are monocot and belong to 3 genera and 1 family. Among the eudicots, 52 species belongs to rosids, and dominant family is Fabaceae with 24 species and 15 genera. 14 species belongs to astrids. This study can serve as the primary data source and will greatly aid in the management of wildlife.
