Transition metal oxides attract attention of many researchers due to its multifunctional properties among different practical scientific applications. Among them CuO rising as most effective metal oxide due its excellent electrochemical, photocatalytic, catalytic and antibacterial property. In this paper we study the antibacterial property of ZnO doped CuO. We found in past researches that doped CuO gives better result than undoped CuO. ZnO doped CuO is synthesized by hydrothermal method. The characteristics of both doped and undoped CuO is studied via SEM (scanning electron microscopy), XRD (x-ray diffraction) analysis. The surface image and elemental image of both is studied. The doped CuO is highly stable cloud like structure of 500-700 nm in size with insignificant impurities.
