Abstract

Sacred Groves are biodiversity-rich sites of varied sizes and have been preserved for centuries throughout the world by communities due to their religious and cultural significance. These lesser-known biodiversity hotspots serve as repositories for important plant species and render essential ecosystem services to the surrounding areas.
