Fat associated liver conditions may be related to humans consuming foods heated at high temperatures in degraded and reused unstable fats. Consumption of these deep fried foods and the highly oxidized lipids is an emerging public health issue in human populations where the quality of frying fat is neither monitored nor regulated.
