Quantitative data could be collected on the changes in cropping patterns and the increase in the cropping index as a result of the program. The resulted in changes in cropping, designs and a rise in the farming ratio, aiding in the ultimate aim of boosting agricultural food yield. The effectiveness of these methods is also credited to the partnership between agricultural water-user groups and the administration.
