Efficient trauma management requires timely risk assessment. However, existing trauma scoring systems like RTS, TRISS, and ISS are complex and time-consuming, limiting their utility for immediate triage, especially in resource-limited settings. Objective: This prospective cohort study aimed to evaluate the predictive capabilities of the simpler MGAP and GAP scores, compared to the RTS, in forecasting trauma mortality in a tertiary care hospital in South India.
