Background: Modern games were first introduced in Manipur during the rules of the British in the 19th century. Objectives: To investigate the Historical development of the Hockey Sports Movement in Manipur related to sports achievement in connection with International and Olympic Games movements: A Review. Materials and Methods: Sources of data by using internet sources such as Google, and. India times, research gate and local newspaper and National journal were also used as secondary data sources in the study. The secondary sources of data of review for literature were critically examined. Results: The game Hockey Movement in Manipur in connection with the sports achievement in India greatly contributes to the development and achievement of the National International and Olympic Games. Conclusion: This study concluded that this article explores the history of success bringing to life the victories, and personalities of hockey players of Manipur of those time of ‘golden years'.
