Diabetes Mellitus (DM) is a group of diseases, in which the pancreatic cell doesn't produce sufficient insulin production (or) does not effectively use insulin, which leads to an increase in the glucose level. Obesity and lack of physical activity are the major reasons for DM.WHO estimates that 8.7% of the population in India has diabetes, especially in the age group between 20-70 years.
