Introduction: White spot lesions are opacities which are formed due to decalcification occurring in the subsurface layer of the enamel. These lesions are mostly seen in patients during and after fixed orthodontic treatment, due to the undisturbed accumulation of plaque. Though these lesions produce esthetic mishap, they go unattended due to the lack of clinical knowledge in interpretation and diagnosis.
