Background: Nurses are the most susceptible to occupational stress, which may have an impact on work engagement, social support helps alleviate occupational stress and helps nurses feel more involved with their work. Employees that are engaged feel less physical and psychological distress and are more committed to the organization. Aim of the study: To determine the relation between occupational stress, social support and the work engagement among nurses.
