Background: Mandible is commonly studied bone by forensic pathologists, anthropologist for determination of sex from skeletal remains. It has been extensively studied by both metric and non-metric methods. Geographically the morphology and morphometry varies from region to region based on the race and sex. Hence, the current study is done with the objective to study the most important morphometric measurements for sex determination.
