Abstract
A simple and selective spectrophotometric method has been developed for the estimation of the drug Remdesivir (Rem). The method is based on the oxidation of Rem with Sodium Nitroprusside (SNP) as oxidizing agent in an alkaline aqueous medium, followed by coupling of Rem with the reagent Nicotinic Acid (NCA) to form a complex (yellow-colored) with maximum absorption at a wavelength of 394 nm
