The Levels and Sources of Aliphatic and Polycyclic Aromatic Hydrocarbons in Blue Runner Fish from Benghazi Coast, Libya

Abstract
As a part of an ecological health study, polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs) and n-alkanes (n-C9 to n-C20) profiles were assessed in the muscles, livers and gills tissues of Blue runner fish collected from Benghazi coast extending east to Daryanah coast, Libya. Target compounds were analytically determined with gas chromatography-mass spectrometry (GC-MS).
