Extracts of Cinnamomum malabatrum leaves were subjected to primary phytochemical investigations, and extracts showed positive results for alkaloids, saponins, flavonoids, and phenolic compounds. These extracts were subjected to Thin layer chromatography; in petroleum ether extract, yellow dots on the top represent phenolic compounds, and the orange dots represent flavonoid compounds.
