Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome (PCOS) is a hormonal disorder affecting numerous women of reproductive age. Emerging evidence suggests a potential association between PCOS and the development of antimicrobial resistance (AMR) in the gut microbiota. This study aims to employ a metagenomic approach to identify and evaluate AMR strains in women with PCOS. The identification of AMR strains in PCOS patients would provide insights into the association between PCOS and AMR development , leading to potential interventions and treatments.
