Large ventral hernias present a significant challenge to patients and surgeons, requiring innovative and effective repair techniques. In this case series, we provide an in-depth analysis of patients with large ventral hernias who underwent treatment using the transverse abdominis release (TAR) technique. Through a retrospective review of this patient cohort, we offer insights into the surgical approach, perioperative management, and postoperative outcomes.
